I recently collected a number of essays I have written for Substack over the last year and published them in small book. Why? I suppose it’s because I’m still attached to the old world of books—things you hold in your hand, lose from time to time, throw in your backpack, leave with a friend. They also seem more enduring than bits and bytes. That may or may not be true, but it seems that way to me. You can also buy them from Amazon Books—they’re a little more there ($13.95 plus shipping, unless you have Prime)—and Iconoclast Books in Hailey, Idaho. There will probably be other bookstores, but I could easily be the world’s worst sales guy, so we’ll see about that.
